some parents would think that its his fault she had ***, that their little girl would never have *** or get pregnant at such a young age. normally daddy wont accept the fact that his little princess is a freak in bed just like her mother is lol

So I just found out that my girlfriend is pregnant.
The problem is she is 17 and I am 18. If her parents decide to press charges, since she is 17, will she be able to say it was consensual in court seeing as how at 17 you are an adult in the eyes of the court? Or is jail time a possibility

Legally you won't get into any trouble..

the age difference is minuscule to the point I doubt the court will even go forward with the case. How long before she turns 18?

OP, sounds like your being a man about this. My advise to you is to buckle down and work hard at making everything work out right. You will have to make sacrifices and learn to start living your life differently, because it will never be the same. The greatest way to describe what life is life after having your first kid is--- As hard as you thought it would be, youll wish it was only that easy. My life has become greater ten fold since we had our daughter. Shes almost four now and is even more fun every day! Good luck!

Yes I am 18, and she is 17. There is nothing we can do now. All I can do is save up money. Im not and idiot.I would choose to stay with her because I love her and wouldn't want to see her life and the kids life ruined because of it. However, based on the date it would have had to of been conceived that the doctor gave us, and the fact that she was staying here that week, there is no way it is not mine.

I plan on going to college. Next year she still has to go to school, so im planning on looking into taking a few night courses. Then after she graduates it will be easier to negotiate a schedule. but in all honesty, yes my college plans have changed because i wanted to go str8 away next year, but i will still be going, i just want to make sure she can still go as well.

congrats man, and thank you. i can only hope things will all work out right, with the job i just landed i think i should be okay for money, and i still don't know everything about the benefits, but i have heard from people who i know that used to work there that they are pretty good.
