Big Difference

Increased power does not necessarily equate to more volume.

I went from a pair of sealed 10s to a ported 12 on the same amp and my substage increased dramatically. It has loads to do with what subs you are going from and going to as well. I went from a pair of Kenwood eXcelon KFC-Xw10dB SVC 4 Ohm 10s in a dual-chamber sealed box to a Diamond Audio M6mkII 12 in a ported box on the same 600 watts and like I said previously - my substage is worlds better for the change.

The manufacturer states that they won't even reach full excursion untill arounf 700w RMS per subwoofer.

So if you get an RLP 12 or 15" deffinately get an amp that can atleast put out 700w RMS to that sub although I am sure 1000w RMS would really make it shine.

Alright I've got it.....Using the AP1000m 310rms at 4ohm 510rms at 2ohm
Right now: Two 10inch 175rms 4ohm Bandpass :\

Upgrade: One Rl-p15 500rms 2ohm Sealed

Is it worth it??
Honestly, it might be worth your while to try to sell what you have localy, and buy a new amp and sub.

You can find some decent orion amps cheap here on the board, or on eBay that will push an Rl-p eaisly for ~$150-175.
