Why do I keep hearing that the Hifonics amps are overrated when it comes to power. This is one of the reasons that I had not gotten the Hifonics amps for a long time. Finally I decided just to go for it. I bought a brutus bxi1606d and zues zxi6406. I have been very impressed with the SQ and SPL. I cant say they are as good SQ wise as the Zapcos they replaced, but they seem to tax my electrical system alot less. One thing I dont understand though, is I can run my bass at full tilt for 40 minutes, check the amp and it is cool to the touch. How in the heck is that possible?

It would seem that the guys doing the reviews at car audio and electronics have robot ears too. But, yes i can totally hear a difference. Mostly when I compare the Zapco's to other amps. Why else would a company have a good better and best line of amps. Why bother reading amp reviews if they all sound the same. If they all sounded the same I could just buy a couple of amps from walmart and be happy

Nope, I am talking straight across the board. I like to buy and sell amps, I switch em out often in my accord just for fun and to hear the differences in the amps. You dont have to believe me, but I know what I hear. The amps and subs (switched from kickers to RE's) are the only thing that I have change in my accord over the past two years

I have a 1205D that runs cool too..I love it!
