Big amp!

I think maybe he meant you but not sure.

Yes, every product we offer is ours.

We actually employ engineers and develope our own products.

We have been building some of the biggest power amps in the world for almost 25 years.

Each year there are a half dozen little companies popping up offering big amps that they purchased off the shelf from an off shore factory, silk screen their name on it and claim their revolutionary technology.

There are probably enough companies to count on one hand that pioneered the base of all high power amps today and 30 other factories over seas that copied them and offer them to any that will buy a hundred or more.

A good question would be: "Is 90% of the other high power amps ours and the other handful of reputable companies?"

Cool. I didn't realize you're actually associated with the company. Lot's of guys sign up with names like "jblpro" or "jlaudio" and they usually just have a boner for the brand. You should post more pics and specs.

wow, Maxxonics is now buying zenon boards too.....who's next? Elevation Audio ?? (oops, did I say that out loud?) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

Its probably a good amp, you should really post some pics on this fourm though

Wow, that's a little bit insulting but I'll consider the source and assume you know nothing about our company or the history of car audio.

Perhaps you are just not familiar with us.

We actually design and engineer our own products.

We and a few other companies you can count on one hand have been pioneering high power amps for more then 20 years.

Every year there are 10 or 12 little companies that pop up, purchase off the shelf amps from an off shore company (as you mentioned) and claim revolutionary technology.

They sell them cheap, offer little or no support, they don't contribute towards the growth of car audio and simply fold up tent when the going gets gets tough.

10 years ago, there were 4 or 5 high power amp manufacturers in Asia that assembled the high power amps we (and the few others) designed and engineered.

99% of the others stole the base design and now will sell to any one will to buy a 100 or more.

I've been in the 12 volt industry for 25 years and see them come and go every year.

Yep, there are alot of "one shot wonder" companies selling big power amps but please don't include us in the same breath if you don't mind.

I can personally only think of 5 companies that are legitimate manufacturers that don't just buy the blue plate special.

No offense intended... just trying to set the record straight for those that may not know the story.

So since you are a Maxxsonics insider...maybe you could tell me what the hell is wrong with my brand new amp?

Let me make this real easy.

Dial (847) 540-7700 and ask for tech support.

Tell them what amp you have, where you bought it who installed it and what is wrong.

I'll bet you they will know just what to do from there.

You can also send an e-mail to Mike Stiers mikes@maxxsonics.com

Ya, no end caps this time (sorry).

I really liked the end caps myself.

We increased the power and performance, reduced the extra cosmetics and lowered the price dramatically.

The price was the most importatnt thing to competitors but I think they still look pretty cool.
