Wow sounds nice. Assassins with a cast frame sounds cool. I just hope prices don't go up much.

holy crap!

i knew there was going to be a new arsenal and possibly changes to the havoc, but chad made it seems like the assassin wasn't ever going to change.

if he keeps the prices the same, i'll be VERY impressed.

an 8" assassin with dual voice coils and a cast frame for $50 would be awesome!

Yeah, the new drivers sound like they're gonna be outstanding. I love my Arsenal 12 and I'm in no hurry to replace it. That being said, I wouldn't mind using it for an upcoming DIY HT sub project and then throw the new Arsenal 12 in my ride.

My main worry is pricing. If Chad is gonna have some select dealers along with keeping his online direct sales going then aren't prices bound to increase? You have to keep the dealers happy by not undercutting them.

Personally, I'd be willing to pay a little bit more for an upgraded product but I can't speak for anyone else. It should be interesting.

I just called and talked to them, and I have to wait for the new ones lol. They don't have any stock of the old ones. He said the price would be very close to what it is now. Cool! That's great to hear that he plans to keep the pricing similar. Hopefully he offers presale pricing again because I will probably jump all over that offer. That's when I picked up the Atlas and Arsenal 12's.

My AA poly mids arrived on Tuesday...gonna use them as dedicated midbass drivers.

Well I guess I don't need to call today to find out what's up with the new line up.

Chad did say he was going to keep prices very close to what they are now, but having "dealers" might change that a bit. AA's stuff is very good on a price/performance ratio, so I'm sure he'll try to keep it that way.

I'm still contemplating that 18" HT sub he demoed for me, but no mention of that yet as I'm 99% sure it wasn't a Havoc.

whenever dealers are involved prices go up... but they were pretty cheap to start with, so hopefully it's not a big jump

I would expect prices to double, and I highly suggest that when the pre-order or any initial sales begin, you jump on it.
