That looks like a Tunnel Web Spider, I have tons of them but they tend to stay outside away from us so I leave them alone.funny.... Look what i woke up to....
My dog was "playing" with it... the bottome of that cup is almost 4" and when sprawled out he came VERY close to touching it all the way around... I am in Iowa by the way...
For the most part spiders I don't mind. Snakes are much worse for me, yesterday I went to piss outside by our boat and apparently the snake got pissed on and he took off. He was just a little bugger (10 inches) but when I see a snake, even a dead one I get really paranoid and anything resembling a snake on the ground alerts me.
