Since the Search wont work, have there been any cases in which the big 3 has made things worse? I remember seeing a few threads awhile back but cant seem to find them.

The only rare situations that I could imagine

Would be a vehicle with a advanced computer controlled charging system

Some of the hi-end vehicles have such systems

The Yukon, Suburban and Escalades have such a system that monitors the current load on the battery system

The computer can’t see the current draw when you rewire the big 3
