Planing two install 3 amps in my car the amps are hifonics brutus elite 2100.1d running at one ohm 2 10" subs 500rms each .ppi 650.2 running set of focal 6.5krx2 two ohm components. Steg k2.03 running focal 7x10 rear deck speakers .The car is 06 grad prix . Going to upgrade stock electrical with 240amp mechman alt big 3 and yellow top bat. Hoping i dont have two run two battiers to keep cost down .will this be enough of a electrical upgrade forgot two mention subs are in ported box

only way to find out is by trying it and if you have major voltage drop then yes get second battery. but try it with the HO alone first. you might be fine

You should be fine..Id look into a different brand of batt as From my experiencing..That brand doesnt hold up and can damage your alt in the process, as an expensive lesson I learned.Went through 2 sets of batts/red tops, and 2-alts due to s hitty batts.Never maintaining above normal voltages and that was just running the truck alone/no music on.Took me 6 days of swapping alts and warranty batts and cost me some time and expensive funds!!Orileys AGM batts and my alt have stood the test of time on the daily as well as full tilt.(3yrs now).Just FYI to you and others

I live in canada and i dont think orileys ships to me . Are good marine batts good also could you mention good mainstream car audio batts . Mainstream because we have access to limeted options in can and batts are hevey and expensive to ship

I like some of the input so far. Any way to save a buck like fork lift batts have to be cheaper then custom car audio batts buy far . Trying out the ho 240 amp alt first makes sense. What i think going to do first is the big 3 ho alt 240mechman and upgraded batt the spitfire sound cool . I am thinking that there is options on batteries would like to keep away from ones labelled for car audio the mark up is crazy is there a diffrence in agm batts

You deff have things going in the proper direction to begin with. Deff big 3 and HO alt and a good agm batt to start with.Dont go cheapies on wiring/ga wise.(0ga) and that way you dont have to rip it all back out and place 0ga in.As for AGM batts..ALL BATTS are different(AH,volts, size ect.)This is where you need to do some research of your own to find the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK for YOUR VEHICLE, size, ah, volts ect to meet or exceed your criteria needs. Here we can only recommend, but AGM is the way to go

Here is the skinny with the wirring oga two distrabution under seat oawg in 2oawg out one run straight to hifonics brutus elite 2100.1d other oawg two fused distabution block with 2 4awg out two feed the steg k2.03 pushing around 250rms a side and ppi pc650.2 running at 2ohms pushing 325rms a side . That's what the system will be butting out in a nut shell
