Big 3 Upgrade

I had a few questions about the big three upgrade.

I plan on using some extra 4g knuconceptz wire from my brothers build.

I'm running an NVX JAD 900.5 amp, would 4g be enough?

I know one power wire from alt to battery, one ground from chassis ground to battery, and one ground from engine ground to battery.

My question is do you remove the stock wires or leave them?

Do I need to add a fuse from alt to battery? If so closer to which one?

I've searched around and seems like every thread is a little different on what should be done.

You just add on bigger wire, you never remove.

Thats what I thought, but a thread I saw on the nissan frontier forum said to remove

You should always use 0g wire if possible to The 4g might not be much bigger than stock

The stock wires look like a small 8g if that. maybe between a 10 and 8g. I just had the 4g laying around so I figured it wouldn't hurt to run it.
