so I'd like to know if I can use this bolt right here as the ground from the engine block to the chassis?

The place where the alternator is connected to the engine block, it says GND on the metal.

Same thing I have(GM TRUCK)

You have 2 grounds,I made use of them for my Big 3

Heres one under the block, its a factory ground point and where your firewall gnd ends(i think)

The second pic u see on the underside of the front cross member

you can see my KNU 4ga peeking out of the loom of that second pic

and on the thrid pic you can see my Amp ground wire(0ga) which goes to a Dist block

I found a hole on the frame under the cab and installed the wire there, then covered it with

undercoating spray,so it doesnt rust

Yes, just sand sand sand. Also, rubbing alcohol is your friend, it will get you an even better connection. Rub the crap out of the engine block with the rubbing alcohol and make it nice and shiny, without grime, dirt, etc.
