yes 4 gauge can carry approx 150 amps

I am not too worried about the price to be honest. I know how much it costs to let things go wrong and then have to repair them, so imo its well worth it for a preventative measure. I had one beefed up a few years back at a machine shop and it cost 160$ so its worth it in the long run.
