big 3 question

The fuses on the amp will blow before the amp fries but if you only put a 220a on the wire it might blow alot i mean im not 100% sure so do a search maybe
i tried and it kept taking me to calculators, so i tried them and it comes to a little over 250a, so would 300 be too much? can a fuse be too big

Again, you fuse to the wire man. If you are running 1/0 ofc, then 300 is what you need. If you're running that to a disroblock, then fuse those at their rating leading to the amps.

ok, i just thought that only applied to the Fuse between the alt and the battery, i though the other one for the sub and speaker amps would be done by the amps they put out, now i feel bad because you were literally repeating yourself haha

No worries man.

ok i ordered 2 300a and holders, hopefully everything arrives soon
Ok so just to be safe, i have pictures to reference and make sure i dont mess up, but i cant find out how to uplaod them here. basically we know the alt. to battery pos., so ignore that, then i can make a ground and run from by neg. to the i believe its called firwall. and finally i looked around and i found a very small wire, looks like a ground but im not sure, and i think thats where i run my last one to, anyone maybe wanna text me and i can send the pics or tell me how to get them here

OK so ill try to make this easy to follow. We know that i run a wire from the alto, to fuse, to the battery pos.,

This image above is the reference someone gave me on a forum for my model car he had done, and what im going off of

This image is the one im not too sure about, it is a black taped wire that goes to what looks to be a ground (seen), to another ground on the side of the vehicle; this goes to the battery neg.

this ones easy to see in the first picture above, i run from the battery neg. over the whiper fluid to the ground i have to make.

Please check and be sure i dont explode my car trying this upgrade //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

To dissolve any confusion, the below link should explain what needs to be done:

GlassWolf's Pages

As for fusing the wire between the battery and the amp, that is done to protect the wire only and should be fused as close to the battery as possible. With 0awg OFC wire, you can do up to a 350A fuse. It has nothing to do with your amps at all. The fuses on your amps protect them. The fuse by the battery protects the wire.

thansk that link was actually one of the best ive seen for this upgrade, although it seems a bit different than i had bfore, i think i can still do it easy, it the link the wire on the far left, does it not need to go to the battery neg? i thought 2 had to run off it but in that pic only one. I also didnt plan on replacing the old grounds, just adding to. Should i be fine? What are the dangers of this upgrade i should be aware of? This is the only part of my system i am truley concerned for.

If you follow that article, you should be fine. One of the key things is to be sure to disconnect negative battery lead before starting any work. You keep asking the same questions over again though even though you already got answers. Start reading and you'll be fine.
