big 3 question

hey guys im gona be getting my car ready for my install and i have a question about the big 3...im running a chevy cobalt and if you know the battery is in the trunk i see my batt to ground connection and the power wire to the alt but i do not see batt neg to the engine??? not sure how i go about this if anyone can help it would be apreiciated

Ground the engine to the chassis.

yep it would do the same, if you have any other questions ask nateberrier he has a g5/same thing and just got done doing his big 3
