I am going to do the big 3 to my 93' Suburban. I checked out my current eletrical system and I see where the battery positive goes to the alternator. But I thought the battery negative goes to the chassis. Mine goes to the block. Is this fine or do I need to run from the negative to the chassis and from chassis to block?

1. battery positive to alternator positive

2. battery negative to chassis or block in your case

3. engine block to chassis

quite simple really. i went from 12.4 volts to 14.4 volts with my big 3. just bought cheap 1/0 gauge wire too. the whole big three for me only costed about $25 with all the connections and everything!!!
