Big 3 question

i have changed out alts in a lota vehicles, all american though, easy as hell. now i have a mazda, and i am in the process of redoin my stereo, anyways i just took a quick look at the alt which is burried at the bottom of the motor, and its just plugs into the alt, no bolted on power wire, so how do i run the 1/0 from the alt to the batt?

model and year of the car would be helpful

from what i know some cars expecially compact cars run a plug on the alt that takes care of the power line....honestly id contact someone such as ohio generators or excessive amperage or another company that does after market alts and ask them

more then likly what you will have to do is:

A. Buy a higher amp alternator that accepts your plug AND has a post for that 1/0.

B. Run your own wire and spilce into that factory cable for whatever voltage detection (if any) it has.

shouldnt be that hard.
