big 3 question

when doing the big 3...am I adding Extra wires or replacing the smaller ones?

Specifically on the altenator to positive terminal?

There's no real point in upgrading the alt to the positive terminal unless ur gettin a HO alternator cause most stock alternator wires are more than enough for the stock alternator. The main point is the grounds. Engine to chasis, battery - to chasis.

"Build onto" the existing wires, dont replace them... Current/electricity is rather like liquid, it will take the path of least resistance.

Can do it either way, whichever is easier.

And I'd upgrade alt to pos as most factory wires are pretty small.

Electricity takes the path of least resistance. Larger wires = less resistance... There is a point...

Leave them on. It makes warranty loss less risky and if you ever try to sell the car, it'll be easier to remove your stuff.
