big 3 question

i've had my big 3 done for a wile, but with 4 g wire from alt. to battery

today i replaced that with KNU KLM 1/0

and now my volt gauge is going from 13 to 14.5

before it was always at 14.5

what the heck is up with that ?

it has me messed up cus i thought it would

stay up in the high 14's

I don't think it is a cause to worry. If the voltage drops below 11 volts, then I would worry. All that will happen is your battery will dies sooner then normal.

When you changed to the 1/0 ga. cable, did you do the same for the other 2 cables. Keep it the same, for a more constant voltage output.

I know that the Knukonceptz KLM wire is for LIGHTER CURRENT LOADS. Maybe your old 4 gauge was pure copper? Because the KLM is only 10% copper and 90% Aluminum
