big 3 question

Im planning on running a 2nd battery and 0ga to that battery in the trunk. If i run direct from the alt to the second battery do i need to put the cable on the first battery at 1/0 too? amp will be powered by the battery in the trunk only the car and HU will be run by the front battery with an isolator between the batteries.

should not need to be done if you have the isolator in the setup so that the amp can only "see" the one battery. the power from the amp will never reference the front battery for a ground

Use the big cable on whichever battery you will be using for high current applications.
