Big 3 Q: Engine block connected to battery?

The three steps..

1) Alternator Positive to Battery Positive (optional fuse)

2) Battery Negative to Chassis

3) Chassis to Engine Block

So I was going to upgrade the big 3 today and I took a look at it.. and My engine block wire goes to my battery neg. Car is a 97 Accord EX. Anyone else have this? What should I do?

Take the bolt off.. stack upgraded wire on top of it..

you want to ground the engine block so running it to the battery neg would be a good ground
