Big 3 Problem.

I did only 2 steps of the big3. Only thing i didnt do was the Chassis to Engine Block. Could this be the cause of batterys being drained hella quick in like a minute. Cuz when i was done with it the car drained me 2 batterys in under 5 minutes. also do u guys keep the stock wiring connected along side the big 3 cables?

No no haha dont keep the stock wiring connected. Electricity will only flow as much as the weakest link in your circuit. If you keep the stock wiring there, it serves no purpose to have the bigger wire. I would disconnect the stock harness, and get that other wire done asap.

wrong.... Add on to the the stock wire. Electricity will take the path with least resistance.

Wow, are you serious? So I would just tape rap the stock positive wire and the wire that goes to the fuse box and just leave them there disconected safely? and just leave the big 3 wires on? How would the engine and starter get there energy if the stock wires arent on?

Thats what the big 3 is for....

Some people "add on" to their stock harness and others take it out and replace it. Personal preferance i guess. I took my whole harness out and replaced it. If you dont want to do that then just add onto it. But i still would get that other wire replaced.

So if I want to leave the stock wires disconected, can I do that too? How would it affect the Fuse box? since the fuse box would be disconected too because my positive stock wire meets with my fuse box wire becoming a single wire as is gets close to the battery post.

Also I dont understand why the batterys drained that fast. Was it because I didnt do the Chassis to Engine Block? :[

Haha??? WTF??? This is absolute f'ing gibberish. Totally wrong and shows you have no understanding of basic electrical theory.

To the OP; Do NOT remove the stock wiring. Big3 simply adds wiring to the stock wiring. You should add the final leg of the Big3 ASAP.

Yes is does. Electricity flows on the path of least resistance yes. But if you have a circuit that consists of all 4g wire for example, and one piece of it is 8g, you cannot get the same flow that goes through the 4g wire to pass through the 8g wire. So it simply sends enough electricty through to pass through that 8g piece, and thats it. I maybe looking at this wrong as far as a circuit goes, but enlighten me on this.

thats wrong. electricity takes the path of least resistance aka the bigger wire. but with two wires connected instead of 1, the resistance is even less which makes the juice flow better
