Big 3 Install FAIL

So I finally broke down and decided to take on the Big 3 upgrade in my Altima. Took all the necessary steps to making sure this was a success. Measured 2x cut 1x the whole 9 yards lol. Battery negative to chasis was perfect cut and fit. Alternator case to chasis was easy as well. Once I got to the Alt positive to battery positive, thats when ***** hit the fan. couldnt get the **** bolt off of the Alt positive to save my life. ended up breaking the bolt.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif so my question to you guys is this: Do you think I will be ok with that bolt being broken or should I just fork out the $$$$ for another alt??? I checked into it and I dont think they make HO alts for a Nissan altima.

how are you gonna charge your batt without that bolt on your alt?

If you can afford it, get the HO. If not, is there any place that might be able to repair the alternator around you?

looked into it briefly. I don't know if anyone makes a HO alt for my car. I know I dont have the coin for a custom one right now. Germany ***** but I can try to take it to a friend and see what he says

Its not going to back out, however you are fucked if you actually do need to replace your alt with the bolt broken

are you ussing a set screw lug for your wire or a crimp . using a crimp u might have enough room to fit them both on there . set screw not so much

wire that I used for the big 3 is AT 1/0 ga thats crimped

the crimp lug is to thick ? or yo ucant get the nut off to add the next lug

i think the lug is too thick for both the stock wire and the 1/0 without that lug

car still starts tho so I guess until it starts being an issue im good right???
