Big 3 Help....

Heroes are remembered, but legends never die
So last night i was bored and hanging out with some friends. One of mine just happened to have his tools with him and i had not done a big 3 yet lol. Anyway i got it that done and taken care of and my voltage improved alot and its noticeable. I pretty much gained like 3 db it seems just because i can turn it up now and not be as scared of voltage. I mean i was seeing 11.6-.7 full tilt before(i know thats bad but i didnt not do it on a regular), now mine is more stable and staying around 12.4 which is not great either but its a nice improvement for now.

Now my question is, at idle im getting some diming now and not sure why. Everything is secured and tight in my grounds and power connections are good. Im wondering if its just how the vehicle is made? Its only at idle, its like as it dims a little the voltage flux's up and down like 1 - 2(14.4 to 14.2 and back up for example but not really constant though).

Anyone?

Big 3 don't always fix dimming..I had 270a alt and big 3 in my car and still dimmed like crazy.

How many rms r u running ?

A capacitor or second battery could very well solve hour issue..

It's actually what I'm in the works of doing in the truck I just bought.gonna do the big 3 and put a second battery in..if that doesn't work I'll upgrade my alt..but I should be fine with just the battery.

I'm not much help, and there isn't much help here anymore ..but I'm sure they would say cap or batt..id go battery

I just noticed u have two batteries already ??

It's deft your alt then.

My car stock was 110 and my truck stock is 136.

If u got two batteries they prob ain't charging quick enough after the drop

No.... my bad, i think you misunderstood or i wasnt clear enough. When im idling and not playing anything at all, i get a very small flicker that is really not noticable. i just have happen to see it last nigh and was lost

could of been your radiator fan kicking on. that .2 volt drop is still noticable on halogen bulbs.pay attention next time it happens,if your fan kicks on and your lights dim a little bit it is completely normal.

Oh my bad misunderstood .

Something like this would make sense then.

Even when I turn my windows up or down I get dim sometimes
