Ok...i kno that the wires go from

pos battery to alternator

neg batt to ground

and chassis to engine block

however...i am VERY confused on the chassis to engine block part of the big3...is this something that is already there that i just need to replace or wat...details PLEASE...thanks alot.

Well this isn't probably going to help you...but on my car the battery was grounded to the chassis, and the engine block was grounded to that same chassis ground. So that was easy enough.

If your car doesn't have a engine block to chassis ground, you're just going to have to look. While I was poking around in my cars engine, I noticed there were lots of free places on the engine block where if I had a bolt, it'd work perfect. Just look around, you're bound to find something!

What kind of car? If its a ford focus your in luck, cause i konw where mine is lol. But idk if it would help but mine is on the top left of the engine. It has a kind of ring thing that stuck up from the engine and had an original ground off it to the chassis lower in the engine bay. Just use those existing bolts and run a new wire over that one. Leave the old one with it too
