ya that why i just followed it and end up with 5ft long piece.

I like my HO ALT 220amp, 176 at idle! Maybe hes gonna go bigger?

nothing special right now. 2 kicker CVRs. about to switch to a pair of type Rs off maybe a sundown 1500 or hifonics 2008D something with at least 1500 watts.so still not that great but being a poor college student sucks.

i did it on my 99, and it was not bad at all. yes the alt to battery ending up being like 5 ft long. i ran it from the battery behind the coolant reservoir and around to the alt. the ground was easy as the factory ground spot it like 6 inches, so I just took the factory ground off sanded that area add the new 1/0 and put it on top of the factory wire and spot.

When you did yours did you leave your factory alt cable connected with the new alt to battery cable on as well? Or did you just leave it disconnected?

no i left it connected, put the 1/0 ring terminal right over the old one.

ya no problem. also where did you get your ALT and how big of a box did you fit in the trunk?
