Big 3 Grand Prix?

Gimmie Some Sugar Baby!!!
I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT that I've been wanting to do the big 3 on for some time now. After looking under the hood I realized it might be a little bit harder to do than I thought. Is there anyone out there who has a Grand Pirx along the same style/year as mine that could possibly shed some light on how to get this done without any screw up's? If there are any pictures available that would also be great.

what appears to be the hard part? getting wiring to the back?
I thought the wire from the alt to the battery would be short and pretty basic considering they are right next to each other. But when I tried to follow the alt cable I found myself lost in a maze of other wires that are all electrical taped and zip tied together that wrap around and under the engine. I also only found one ground wire for the battery and I thought there would be two.

I did a 0 big three on my 06 Grand Prix. The first ground was within 10 inches of the neg terminal on the wheel well, the second was on the front side of the engine block, the pos. I ran on top of the motor from the alt.

Hope this helps.

Hardest thing is finding the alternator. Once you do that run power wire from there to the battery. I tried to find a picture of the engine but I couldn't.

Did you remove the factory alt cable or did you just leave it?

I have an Optima yellow top for my main batt. I moved the factory wiring to the side posts and used Knukonceptz compression terminals on the top post. That way I could run 2 0 ga. runs to the Kinetik 2400 in my trunk.

OK well makes things a hell of a lot easier. Thanks guys.
i did it on my 99, and it was not bad at all. yes the alt to battery ending up being like 5 ft long. i ran it from the battery behind the coolant reservoir and around to the alt. the ground was easy as the factory ground spot it like 6 inches, so I just took the factory ground off sanded that area add the new 1/0 and put it on top of the factory wire and spot.
