I don't think fusing the alternator to battery line is a good idea, if its broken and unnoticed, the alternator will burn itself up i'm pretty sure. Alternators sensing no load is a very bad thing, last time i checked.

The alternator not sensing a load is a bad thing but the big 3 is to add to the existing stock wires, so the alternator would still get a load if done so.

Well I'm not sure if you knew I'm from AL, but I know there's a Huntsville in TX, and it appears that's where you are from. Haha. But I'll answer your question anyway...I'm not in the country, I'm more in the metro area, actually right over the Madison city line.

Ok so I lied...I still have a question. If I were to ground the engine block to the same place as I grounded the battery, would that be a problem? Or should I ground it to a separate location?
