I began it last night. Started out by designing the box. My goal was somewhere around 2cuf sealed, with the front glassed with the subs recessed into the box so that the seat scoots all the way back to the box. My design came up to be 2.17before sub/recess displacement. That should put me around 1.7-1.9cuf after displacement, sealed. should sound nice if all goes well. Will be getting 200wrms per sub with factory electrical. I am going to run 1 run of 1/0 power/ground. In a few weeks, i'll get some 10" rings, and glass the front over. Box is 58.375" wide. 16.125" tall. 2.25" deep at the top, and 9.25" deep at the bottom. Subs will be recessed a little over 1/4".

Here is how the amp placement will go.

Okay guys. The frame is done, and the peice that the amp will mount to is also done. Tomorrow after its all dry, i am going to sand it all down pretty smooth, and build the front/back and sides of the amp rack. I flipped the script up on that. It was just going to be the board mounted on 2x4s and hidden under the seat. Now i am going to build sides/front/back on it so if anyone were to look at it, it would be smooth under there. It will also be glassed, and painted the same color as the truck/box. No one fret the edges that dont line up, because this is just the frame for a recessed glassed front. When the fleace gets stretched accross, i will fix those edges to make them flow with the rest of the install. It's all drying right now, and i am going to test fit it as soon as it is all dry.
