I have 4 RL-i8's in .5 seperate seal boxes. load is at 2 ohm. I'm between the Memphis MCD1500 and the Memphis MCD2500. the 1500 does 1500@2ohm where as the 2500 does 1250 at 2 Ohm.

That depends which amp you could cheaper and fit your budget... a difference of 250 watts wont really be noticeable by ear id say go with the amp that fits the bill.....

Well it depends.

If you intend to keep a set up with a 2 ohm load, I would go with the MCD1500. It puts out more than the MCD2500 at that ohm load.

However, if you intend on changing your set up to a 1 ohm load sometime in the future, I would go with the MCD2500. It puts out a lot more power when using a 1 ohm load.
