Better Under Hood Battery?

Ok, Christmas is coming around. Time to treat thyself!

What would be a better under the hood battery? They are around the same price, so it's all in performance.

Kinetik HC 1400, HC 1800(if it fits)

or

Optima Yellow top D34.

There will be only one battery, as my 130amp alt probably would suffice in charging 2 batteries.

What Kinetik would classify near or the same as a size group 34?

The 2000, 2400?

1400 is a group 34 size has a higher capacity as the 34 yellow as well. 60 aH for the kinetik 55 for the g34 yellow top. a g31 is a huge battery its 2400 in size but the 2400 has 40 or so more aH capacity

Stock fits Group 34d or whatever it is.

yup it will fit but it doesnt accept a bracket install its a square smooth surfaced battery. it will need a hold down strap in some cars

How many feet do you think I need? I can use the same color wire for the power and grounds right?

I don't know. The electrons might be snobbish and refuse to flow in a different color wire (I know I'm an ***).

BTW that KLM seems like a helluva deal.

well its better to get different colors for Power wires and Ground wires .. so people can tell the difference and not get killed

I would personally go with the optima yellow top. I can attest to it. I have a yellow top and had 4 100W lights on my jeep and accidently left them on while at work one day, FOR 8 HOURS. Came out and my jeep started like nothing happened. I have also ran these lights for hours at a time while offroading with the A/C on, 200w amp running, HU running, head lights on, and fog lights on. Thats a whole lotta power being used at one time, and never had an issue.

The 1400.

Has a better capacity (aH), which is better for daily loads. It's cheaper too.

i got 2 shot ones if you want them they read 8 v lol
