Best way to wire this?

Ok My sub is a RF P3 Dual 4ohm.

I Have the rf p500-2 amp. WHich would mean i have to bridge the amp. How would i have to wire the sub to get the best output from the amp. Like the lowest possible ohm load to get full output out of the amp. I was looking at the birth sheet for the amp the otherday and it said real rms was 716. And im pretty sure that right now the amp is wired like a retard cause i let my friend do it who i know more about car audio then he does. Im thinking its at something like 8 ohms atm but i would have to open the box up to see..

Can someone show me how to get the most power to the sub with that amp?

take a wire from the positive of on voicecoil to the positive of the other and same with the negative, then run wire from the v/c with all the wire in the terminal to the back of the box. You'll see 2 ohms

its showtime. Time to screw it back up and then see what happens

I wired at 2 ohms in the sub. Gonna bridge it to 4. My dude had it wired weird as ****. It was 1 wire from positive of one coil to the neg of another, Then the positives and negatives that were left, one on each coil, Went to the terminal on the back? wtf kind of ohm load is that... BRB with the verdict

Most 2 channels bridged aren't designed to run at 2ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

They can do 4 ohms bridged, but the only option you have is to run your sub at 8 ohms.

I thought that when you bridge it your gettting 2 + 2... Giving it 4 ohms to the sub? Guess im wrong. Well anyways i went for a test drive. Turned it up to about 9/11 on gain and a quarter eq. If i put my volume to the max 25/34 it will cut out and then come back on in the middle of loud notes.. Turned the gains down a little.. I kind of liked it better before.

Awe poo back to 8 ohms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif weird how my brother had it wired 2 ohms for over a year. Musta had the gains set low

How the hell are you gonna bridge a 2 ohm resistance and it changes to 4? lol. Sorry, but the dude youre talking about obviously knows more about CA than you. He had it bridged to 8 ohms, you could run one coil on each channel but itd be the same. Get 2 of them for the amp, youll get more output, or get a D2 sub, or SVC 4
