Best Way To Wire My Sub

i was wondering if it matters....i get so confused with all this crap....

i just bought a MB QUART PAB1200.1D------600w RMS x 1 @ 4 ohm, 800w RMS x 1 @ 2 ohm, 1200w RMS x 1 ch @ 1 ohm------

to power CADENCE 3000w peak...dual voice coil 2ohm------ 1,500w RMS

I would do diagram # 2.....that way you will be feeding your sub more

alright thanks....thats the one i was looking at i figured it would power it better....this is the first time im getting a decent system.....am i going to need anything else...like a capacitor....or i probably wont need it?

I will have to recommend you wiring it to 4 ohms first, like in the top diagram. Then, do the big 3 (search), THEN wire it to 1 ohm. Running it at 1 ohm will need much more power than at 4, and I have no idea what car/altenator you have, but I'm sure the dimming will be pretty good with 1200watts and a stock electrical system.

I wouldnt do that....1200 watts shouldnt be too bad on your electrical system...would always suggest another battery and big 3 tho

hell, it's kind of ironic. I run my ~1000 watts @1ohm on the big 3, a big no-name batt, and a 46 amp alt, and i'm telling him to upgrade:laugh:

Definitly no cap, I cant believe the hype they have.

Spend your 60-100 on 1/0 guage wire and the appropriate connectors. You will be much better off.

yeah i like that amp looks great and i guess puts up pretty good too.....my excited about the sub....friend has 2 treos and those bang.....hopefully the cadence has close to the same output....this set up should blow my duals away.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
