Best way to support a 45 pound magnet

Well, I picked up my Eclipse SW-8200 and it's sitting in my livingroom waiting for an enclosure to bump in. I've got a few questions.

I've got a bunch of 3/4" MDF to work with. I'm aiming for 1^3 net sealed. It will most likely be a cube. I was thinking of aiming it either up or towards the hatch (Jeep Cherokee)

What is the best way to support, mount, position a 45 lb sub to ensure its stable. I don't want it's weight to rip out the mounting screws, etc.

How do you guys go about dealing with the weight of the magnet exceeding 40ish pounds?

i dunno how heavy an MT 18is, but i just mounted mine with plain ol' 2 inch wood screws...its triple baffled....and they hold more than fine. i'd say they weigh 70-75 lbs. each....and yes bracing is a must //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

With a 1 cuft box you wont need bracing. It will be rigid enough as it is. Double baffle wont hurt as it gives you a decent amount more bite for the mounting screws. 8 1 5/8 coarse drywall screws will hold it fine... unless you are severly beating the Cherokee offroad, then Id step up the screws to a little beefier gage.

Rotuinely hang much larger drivers off of drywall screws with no issues... under way tougher SPL conditions...
