Best way to run 4ch amp?

I was thinking about getting a 4ch amp to run my front and rear components but it will be a huge hassle, not to mention running all the wires for the components to the amp. What is the easiest way I can go about running all the speaker wire and making it look nice at the same time?

You just need to run the fronts under the door channel or the carpet. What kind of vehicle? If it's a car, you would just run the wires under the back seat and into the trunk. It can be easy or hard, depends on the car.

I have a 99 chevy blazer, any ideas?

Yep, take the carpet up and run the power wires and isht to the location of the amp. Then while the carpet it up, run the speaker wire to the plastic foot rail inside and unscrew that. There you will see a big bundle of electrical tape wrapped wires. Just run your speaker wire on top of that on each side until you reach the doors. Then, run the wire through the appropriated hole in the door, put carpet back down and screw foot rail back in. It wont be a quick job if you want everything to be tucked away. Beauty and sleekness takes time and effort. If you don't want to do it, take it to a shop and ty should be able to do it for fairly cheap assuming you provide all the wires.

to run fewer wires, mount the crossover inside the door. THat way youre only running 2 wires up each side.
Unless your doors are 100% sealed against any level of moisture intruding I wouldn't advise that. I did that once with the very first set of components I ever owned and now every single set-screw on the crossovers is rusted. They still work perfectly but it looks like shit. I'd imagine had they stayed in the doors for a great long while (rather than a few months) it's highly likely they'd have eventually gotten ruined.

yeah go to auto zone and pick up $5 more worth of 16 guage wire and install it correctly. plus crossovers mounted near your amps make a system look so professional!
