Best way to make a HB loud?

[dacheatham 10+ year member]

Picking up a 87 Corolla HB this week and want to make it kind of loud. Looking to either do 1 big 15 or 2 smaller 12's. I will have around 1000 to spend on subs and amp.

Amp wise I am thinking 2000+, maybe a GP3000 if I can find one.

Give me some suggestions on amp under 400 and sub(s) under 400

i had a aq 2200d and a hdc315a, it was pretty loud. both are under 400 new from AQ
