Best way to connect two strands of 0 guage together???

Long story short I need to connect to pieces of power wire together and Im not sure how to do this w/o it being jerry rigged. I was going to use electrical tape and lots of it maybe even solder the wire together at the connection point. What do you all recommend

do you have an inline fuse you can use? It'd do the trick and make it pretty safe.

a little more ghetto, but connect ring terminals to each end, bolt them together, electrical tape them up.

1/0 coupler would be much safer though.

i usually use either the propane soldering iron with torch attachment or just the big *** regular torch.

Cut a 2 inch piece of copper tubing, set over wire and hammer away. Tape/heat shrink over.

Just an idea, ive never done it before but thats pretty much the same way a crimp works for smaller wire. Post edited.
