Best way of mounting amp to box?

i always have to bolt my amp to my box due to space limitations. first hing i do, is brace the HELL out of the box. flex is your enemy and if you have no box flex, your amp will thank you. i also put ONE rubber washer behind the feet of my amp. the reason i dont do large numbers, is because once it gets to a point, it gets too cushiony and will infact let the thing move more. i also use hurricane nuts and machine screws to hold my amp to the box so its easy to remove/ put on later if need be

I would love to find another place for my amp in a few of my installs..but giant amps don't fit in many areas haha.

Just build the box well and use some type of rubber or other material as already stated and it should be fine.

I have done this for many many years and I have never had one problem.

the box is well braced i just didnt want to bolt it straight to it. if i have enough wood ill do a second back side
The 1.5" on the back of my box doesn't cover the entire back. Its the size of my amp plus about 4" all the way around. Like a mounting board just for the amp, I carpeted it front and back then bolted it very tight to the box, i figured both the extra thickness and carpet would help isolate the vibrations
