Best type of battery for custom boombox?

I know this is an old post. I make ice chest radios and use AGM batteries for wheelchairs. I mostly use 35ah and with a kenwood kac-8405 pushing 4 db691's it will play all day at normal volume or 6-8 hrs cranked up.
