Best tune for 1 HDC3 12" in 2.5 cubes?

I listen to mainly bass heavy hip-hop, with rolling lows like Hypnotize, Bia Bia, Late Night Tip, etc. I am going with 33hz right now, but just wondering what some others think? I was told 33hz is too low for daily use. It's powered by 1200rms at 1-ohm.

Just do 38hz, especially since your enclosure is on the big side for a 12, so that will help with the lows...

Ok well he already built the box at 33hz... will I be disappointed in the sound or is it really not that big of deal? People I have spoken to are making it sound like I ruined my entire setup by tuning to 33hz.

I'm guessing it'll be quite bottom heavy/boomy, but with your choice of music you might actually like that...
