Best tune for 1 HDC3 12" in 2.5 cubes?

I listen to mainly bass heavy hip-hop, with rolling lows like Hypnotize, Bia Bia, Late Night Tip, etc. I am going with 33hz right now, but just wondering what some others think? I was told 33hz is too low for daily use. It's powered by 1200rms at 1-ohm.

how about you go with what the builder of the sub recomends ..

shit slams at 38-40 ..

it drops low and gets loud ..

its not a sub to tune down to 30 to obtain the lows ..

when i had mine, i had in 2.25cu ft. @ 32Hz. and i also had it in 1.75cu ft. @ 38Hz. I kno the boxes were a lil small but it got the job donw. The sub got a little louder in the 38Hz, but at 32Hz it was 1000X cleaner, and it got 100X lower. The 32Hz. played the lows like champs, but the 38Hz got a lil louder.

benner i have a solution, u go with your plan, when i get mine (couple weeks) ill tune it around about 37 and then we will discuss how each sound
