Yeah, Been shocked way too many times. Got bit by 480 once and it threw me up against the wall. Thank God. Hurt like hell though.

Lesson learned. Don't touch the tranformer unless you know the disconnect is locked out, no matter what the inspector tells you.

just because you have it, doesnt mean it has to be cranked 24/7... the capability to do so is what counts. with 4 18's they would barely even have to move to acheive a nice daily listening level, less strain on the equipment, last longer....
