Boston G5 are rated to go into .5 cubic feet and take around 1k, sound great. Look into them more, when does the SI shallow mount come out?

if you can wait the si b/m would seem to be perfect, or you can go with a Mag and just add polyfil to the box to make up for the internal volume

Problem being that both of those are 12s and his box is built for 10s.

Here is the box that is mounted in my rear quarter panels in my GTO.

Right now there are IDQ 10v2's in there but they are now damaged from stupid installers and I want something that will get loud. The IDQ's sounded nice while they lasted but did not get very loud. Would a pioneer TS-SW2541d shallow do well in here? A kicker CVT 10 would need more than .55 airspace correct? Thanks.

dang so many choices, I have an alpine MRP M650 amp so 600 watts RMS at 2ohm. I want something that will get loud for what airspace I have.

I've yet to hear one good thing about their output in either quantity or quality. They're popular with the crew cab pickup guys because they fit under the seat but they aren't that spectacular.

Most guys I know of prefer the Rockford thin mounts or the Kicker thin mounts to the Pioneers. Both Memphis and RE have thin subs coming out really soon.

Is that 6" depth internal or external? Either way I'd discount all the cast frame subs. They'll be too deep and most of them were made to handle a lot of power and are inefficient as a result. There are a ton of entry level subs out there that will do well with that power. The issue really becomes the tiny box. You're going to either give up bottom end or efficiency with a box that small. You might give the Dayton RSS265HF-4 a look. They model well in a box that small and would be very happy with that power and being SVC 4 ohm subs would give you a 2 ohm load to the amp.
