best sup for this box? (pics)

Here is the box that is mounted in my rear quarter panels in my GTO.

Right now there are IDQ 10v2's in there but they are now damaged from stupid installers and I want something that will get loud. The IDQ's sounded nice while they lasted but did not get very loud. Would a pioneer TS-SW2541d shallow do well in here? A kicker CVT 10 would need more than .55 airspace correct? Thanks.

i'd choose the kicker shallow mount over the pioneers, and don't expect to get very loud with

.55 cu. ft. of air space. minimum on the cvt is .8, but you could possibly get by with what you have.

American Bass just released shallow mounts. I heard 3 8"s in a 1.5 sealed enclosure and it ran a 129.9 bassrace all day and peaked around 135 db. Good sounding too.

The car is back together now and the arm rest was removed and covered with mdf board with holes and speaker cloth covering them. It looks great and totally stock. Now I just need the right subs since mine are dead. I will get some pics of the inside soon.

speaking from my own experience....

rockford sound like shit...period

pioneer sound decent if you have more volume to give them..which is not usually the case if your having to use shallow mount subs

kicker sound decent but nothing impressive

mb quart were very impressive but require more clearance infront of the driver.

again..thats MY OPINION on the equipment in the installs the shop I work at has done.

They charged 180 to install them and move my rear speakers to the rear deck. I bought the boxes with subs from a guy who sold his gto for 250 which was a good deal. I am going in the morning to try to get my money back I really don't want w0s to replace my idq's. Any tips on how I should handle the situation?

W1s might be an option. As would getting another pair of ID subs. If the shop damaged them, they should be paying for the new ones.
