best subs UNDER $100???

I was wondering what sub was the best for under $100. I was thinking either sony or mtx, maybe polk, that is why i am asking, I what something that holds on to a deep note, and it dosen't distort. yeah mtx 4000 arent bad for the prize........... Rockford fosgate punch HE might be worth a look and JL W0 (lil more than a 100 ...but not much

I don't thik the Visoniks are that bad for only $70, my truck rocks and I only have 100watts going to them. You could even get the 15's for about $120 a peice I think. I probably shouldn't say all this cause I'll get made fun of for my subs but I think they sound pretty good.

hey there isn't anything wrong with visonik's. there top of the line stuff thumps hard as hell. anyway for under 100 bucks the HE's are good subs for that price. hell online you can find the HE2's for under 100, also you could look into some infinity ref series.

You can also find some JL w0's for under $100 online. Just going by "the word on the street" it might be worth it to throw in a little more cash and spring for some Adire Audio Shiva's. About $125. they aren't picky subs. the RF subs aren't picky at all you can put them in almost any type of box and they will work nicely. they love sealed and will thump hard in them. hell i could get some HE2's to sound louder and cleaner than your L7's. also those shiva's are awesome subs for the price.

I was looking to set up an ALL ROCKFORD system sometime in the future, just for sh*ts and giggles. Head unit, speakers, overpriced wires and all.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif I'm glad they aren't they aren't picky, cause I'm no expert. And I'm tired of paying experts to set up picky subs, like an SQ setup using L7's, what a headache, lol. I think that next time I might go with JL.

I'm all for the JL W0's, definitely one of the best subs under $100. Bumpin Blazer, I'd take you up on that offer, better throw some cheese on the table. I just don't see the He's taking the L7 in an SQ contest, and seriously doubt they would take them in an SPL contest either, given that both subs are pushed to their max. Now the Power HX2 can definitely run side by side with the L7 in an SPL contest, but I just don't see Rockford as an even contender on the SQ side of things.

Now the HE2 and the L5 would be more of a closer match. But there kicker just comes up short. I really have started to like Rockford I did pretty much the same thing you want to do and went an all RF system in my worktruck except Head Unit. Only reason was I can get RF cheap as dirt becasue we are RF distribtors. All I have is 2 12 punch zs Rockford power 50.2 and 400@4 with fosgate fantic q componets and had the retail of over 1300 in our store which is crazy casue I am only gettin around 132-136 dbs outta it but that is a single cab truck I am impressed and has held up for every day driving and I will tell you that i didnt pay even half for that you guys take a guess. I also got a few 15 and 12 HE2s laying around that I got for free so if anyone is interested.

Oh ya I got to mixed up in my system but basically the L5 will have a lil better sq not much though the HE2s have pretty good sq in around 1.45 cubic ft sealed box and still hit pretty niclely for a fairly cheap sub but overall I would go with the Rockford just for the simple fact that I am not to found of the L7s but the old cicrle solos now those in my opinion were some good ol subs and the comp vrs I actully like alot too.
