best sub?

workin on a friends car. i have 1.3-1.4 cu.ft. sealed. i need a sub and amp combo that will give him the loudest deepest sound. the guy is a complete bass head but cant take up anymore room.

Hey, dude....he asked for what would work for the application. There was zero mention of price.

Anyway, the Boston sub can be picked up on Woofers

Etc., or Ebay, for around $500. They will also work in his application, with 3 3/4" linear stroke, needs 1 cft sealed, will handle 1000W continuous, superb sound quality, and has a replaceable voice coil. Output from one of these is at least as much as two regular 12" subs!

i am outside of atlantic city

and i know, i wish i could put a ported box in there but he does not want to take up more room, he wants the most he can get from that space and i dont know many subs that would like a 1.4 cu ft box ported.

thanks for the ideas, price isnt a HUGE concern but he doesnt want to drop a lot of money.

i was thinkin the boston for his car and mine, i think i am deciding to go with 2 12" jbl power subs...

how do you think one of those jbl powers would sound?

any other ideas?
