With a new front stage well in place, I am looking for the best option for uprading my sub stage. To be honest, I didn't realize how loud my new Image dynamic components were going to be ( which is a good thing) I am currently running a Boston G5 with a Alpine amp pushing 600 rms. Looking for sound quality with some more volume. The choices I am looking at here are: 1. IDMAX 450.00 2. Polk SR 350.00 3. A second Boston G5 170.00 shipped (
crutchfield sale) Problems, Polk SR recommends seal box, I have ported tuned at 34 hertz. Getting another Boston G5 will require me to have another box built and another amp to push it. Humm, Sound quallity is all important for me. I am open for any other good options the forum might suggest. I do love my Boston G5, just looking for that extra push now to blend in better with my front stage. Thanx all.
