Best sub for $500

I'm looking for the best single sub that is around $500. Ill be running a Skar 1500.1 for it. The only implication is that it cant have a crazy box size since i have a trunk and am limited as to what i can fit in the opening.

I listen to hiphop mainly. My current sub is a Powerbass 3xl-152d tuned @ 32hz

I think that $500 should be spend on getting some proper mids and highs. 1500w sub stage w/ stock mids/tweets? Doing it wrong.

15 re xxx with Fi soft parts. 300 shipped. Arguably one of the best daily driver subs. Sounds great and digs lows.

a used one from the forums that will fit your rms and space requirements is always the best IMO... some subs need huge boxes some like small, keep that in mind with your vehicle
