the box is a bandpass and the amp is a rockford that gives me 200 rms bridged at 2 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I don't (yet) have any personal experience with these companies, but from what I've heard, you should look at an Adire Audio Koda or an Image Dynamics IDMax. Both are under $250, assuming you only want one.

for a bandpass application? what size box?single or dual? Alumapro Alusonic series subs are excellent for BP applications

sorry i left that out...its a pre fab bandbox box [single 12] i dont know the tuning

its a rather large box [yet agian no idea] ya im a hella newbie sorry all

not for bandpass applications- i doubt that basket of a ID max will fit in any prefab Bandpasss box i've seen...

i was thinking a Alpine type R
if so i'd look into Alpine type R preloaded slot vented enclosures to best utilize the poweer you have-sell the rest

With a BP box you should really use box software and plug in the specs of speaks you want to use to see if they fall in the vacinity of the internal volume of your prefab.

eff that ... whatever sub you put in that bandpass box (except the one they designed it with) will sound like poo compared to a sealed or properly tuned ported box.

165+ shipping will get you an ascendant atlas, 250ish will get you an rlp.

both, eaither ported or sealed, will be really sweet. but that bandpass box will get you nowhere. and both of these will work wonders on 200w in a nice big box. very efficent drivers. BUT - you will have to play with the atlas, it CAN be wired at 2ohms... but you will have to talk to chad about it.

Oh, sorry, I didn't see the BP part. Oops. Yeah the Koda's and IDMax's are much better in sealed boxes. Sorry about that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif
