Just like the title says, Best Sub for 1000+ watts in a 1.7CF Vented box @ 38Hz with $150ish price tag. I am open to 10's and 12's people, I want the most Bump for my buck and the box is already built. I was considering the RE SE 10 (bare aluminum basket type) not the new ***, but I am not sure it will handle the power.

Hit me with anything you like. I also like the DD's but they are out of my price range usually...

I've been trying to sell my AQ SDC2.510. It'll handled 900W all day in my car, shouldn't have much of an issue on 1k either. I had mine in 1.59 gross, you would be fine with 1.7 but might have to sacrifice some power handling capabilities. Should play lower and sound better in the bigger box though.

SE won't handle the power though. SX would, but they are quite pricer.

What about the Kicker L7 10" sub that would fit just barely, would that take 1Kwatts?

So this sub shows its for a .4 ported enclosure?? Is that a type O? What size box would it be good in Mine = 1.7CF 38Hz...Sounds like a good sub otherwise.. Really just what I am looking for..
