Nah I'm just kidding. But my brother gave me his for christmas and i'm broke so i can't buy anything else. Gotta build an enclosure for my mustang, his was too big; I have 2 XS-GTX120LW which are rated for 350 wrms each.

Question: If i'm building a sealed box, how many cubes should i give to each sub?

Also, is there like an average size box for 12" subs? Because once i get into college and get a job i'll be looking to upgrade the subs. Thanks in advance.

Go to sonys website and see what the specs that they suggest are...

Even with xplods id say ported is the way to go

Already checked the website, it doesn't say. And i can't do ported because i have a small trunk i'd rather go sealed because they **** in the sound quality department but from my understanding sealed helps it a bit?

around 1cf per would be about right. I agree ported would be the way to go but either way don’t expect miracles. No there is no avg cf for 12's every 12" has a different requirment. Like my wmd2 liked 3.2cf but yet my DD liked 1.9cf..

um ported for 2 12's is not the way to go in a ******* mustang trunk.

You will be lucky to fit the 2 sealed with out blocking off all entrances into the cabin.

go with 1.25 sealed if you can

heard these sealed. not as bad as I hoped they were. friend burned it up in 1 night.

I'd do sealed and hope for the best. Maybe 1.15 per sub?

Friend had 2 of those i put in 3.75 ported for the pair, ran them off a kicker 1000 and they got down and dirty. Still has them to this day. The black shiny sonys arent a bad entry level sub, the red ones ****. The black CF Cone ones are the best they have and have a nice motor on them.

3.75 won't fit in a mustang trunk....

if your running rms go 1.25ft each well braced.
