by far right now the best stock system i've heard is the rockford fosgate stock system in a 06 xterra, that shit BANGS for a stock system, its pretty BA, my friend has an xterra thats brand new 09 model and hes got the rockford in it but it doesnt sound NEAR as good as the 06, odd

Hmm, I have heard many stock systems and if ur bad into systems nothing compares. I do like the ones in the Chargers and Magnums thought...

i was impressed by my dads companies 01 explorer sport stereo. nothing fantastic, but it sounded decent and the little stock sub in the back held its own.

Monsoon stereos in VW's arent too bad either.

My 99 cadillac STS was pretty **** loud and the sub in the back deck definitely rattled the rear view quite a bit. I want to hear the 17 speaker system in the genesis sedan though, iirc same as in a phantom.

The 95' Nissan Maxima was an amazing system to me back then, along with the Honda Accord from that same year. (of course, I was really just gettin my feet wet with Car Audio at that time)

I was just blow away with the fact that they both came "stock" with tweeters, lol.

I had a 97 audi a6 wagon that was fully loaded I think it was 10 speaker bose with a 6 disc changer,I was thoroughly impressed with the sound quality but it was helped the most I think by how deadened the interior of the car was from the factory.

Does it count as "stock" if it's just upgraded at the factory with high-end parts? I have a hard time calling an all Inifinity or Rockford system "stock" just because that's what came with it.
